Alvesta Municipality, with approximately 20,000 residents — the heart of southern Sweden — integrates local living with global opportunities. A position built on high-quality municipal services, a successful business community, and a good mix of urban and rural areas. Add to this a strong infrastructure with rail, air, and a well-developed road network, and you will understand why Alvesta Municipality is the right choice.

  • Big enough for ideas to be born and developed
  • Small enough for everyone to be seen and appreciated, with short decision-making paths

In the Alvesta municipal group, we have about 2,000 employees across various professional categories who work every day to make a difference for our residents. Our shared value base is, “Together we create a better everyday life for our residents and ourselves as employees. We develop through good meetings and open dialogue. We achieve this through our value base built on “Participation, Engagement, and Trust.” Our focus is to create the best possible municipal service for those we serve; residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors. Alvesta Municipality operates based on a governance model that relies on trust-based management and governance with a focus on Agenda 2030.
